Mikaela and Christos spent the day before their wedding in Crete with their friends, all together in a relaxed, open gathering.

Nothing was set up or directed.

Everyone just showed up, hung out, talked, laughed. We were there, moving with the flow and capturing things as they unfolded.

That was it, easy, honest, and exactly how it felt.

Mikaela and Christos came from Australia with a clear intention,

to make this their own, in every possible way.

What stood out from the beginning wasn’t just the setting in Crete, or the way the day unfolded, but the energy around them. They were fully in it. Open, present, up for everything. The same went for their people, friends and family who didn’t hold back, who trusted the process, who made space for moments to happen naturally.

The day moved between a villa in the countryside of Rethymno and Agreco Farms, one of those places that doesn’t need much to feel right.

Everything blended into the environment. Natural materials, subtle choices, nothing overpowering. It all felt connected to the landscape,

not placed on top of it.

There wasn’t a sense of things being “set.” It was more fluid than that.

One moment leading into the next, color, movement, sound, eмоtion shifting throughout the day.

We could easily go on about this wedding. About the people, the atmosphere, the way everything came together without forcing it. It felt like a creative collaboration more than anything else.

And by the time night took over, it turned into something else entirely.
